Women in Green is advancing a grassroots apolitical historical initiative to re-apply Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria with an extensive educational public relations campaign the purpose of which is to bring about a revolution in the national consciousness.

This educational-public relations campaign for the application of Israeli sovereignty includes billboards, conferences, lectures, parlor meetings, publication of opinion pieces, publishing the Sovereignty Journal, in Hebrew and English in hundreds of thousands of copies. Included in our Sovereignty Journal are articles and interviews with public figures and intellectuals who call for implementing the vision of sovereignty as the vision of the State of Israel.

This educational, consciousness raising campaign to instill national values within the Jewish People and its historical and religious connection to the land, is extremely expensive.

Your donations will help us to continue in our educational-public relations activities as well as activities aimed at holding on to the Land of Israel. Our goal is to raise $250,000 to continue the sovereignty campaign – which includes research projects on the feasibility and implementation of sovereignty as well as the printing and distribution of 800,000 copies of the Sovereignty Journal.

About Us

Updates

The Women in Green movement was established in Israel in 1993 as a grassroots movement of women and men, religious and secular, united in their love, dedication and faithfulness to the Land of Israel. We are a registered NGO with members and supporters both in Israel and abroad.

We act out of our great faith in the central role of the Land of Israel  as the promised national home for the Jewish People. In addition to educational-public relations activities about our right to the Land of Israel, our movement acts in practical ways to strengthen our hold on the Land of Israel.

In the Summer of 2014, immediately after the murder of Gil-ad, Eyal and Naftali by Arab terrorists became known, members of Women in Green went up together with residents of Judea to the Abu-Suda forest on the hill near Gush Etzion Junction, a few hundred meters from where the boys had been kidnapped and murdered, to bring bustling Jewish life to the place. The Oz veGaon Nature Preserve has become an active educational, cultural center which has had thousands of visitors with more than 20,000 youths coming to the place since its founding to volunteer, to learn and to touch and work the ground of the Land of Israel.

The central area of our activity in the past years is the extensive public relations campaign calling for the application of Israeli Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. This campaign includes conferences, lectures, parlor meetings, billboards, publication of opinion pieces and publishing the Sovereignty Journal in hundreds of thousands of copies in Hebrew and English.

Another educational event that our movements holds, a tradition that began in 1994, is the yearly walk around the walls of the old city of Jerusalem on the eve of the ninth of Av with thousands of participants from throughout Israel and the world. The walk concludes every year with an assembly where public figures speak on the Jewish People’s religious and historical connection to Jerusalem and the vision of Israeli sovereignty in all areas of the Land of Israel.
