Our special Reuth touch is found in our passion – passion for our profession, passion for our patients and their families. The fusion of top quality medical care with a deeply ingrained ethos of respect for patients’ dignity and the most attentive care for their overall wellbeing lies at the heart of our work. Combined with innovation and a holistic treatment program, we have managed to build a unique environment for recovery.

About Us

Reuth is one of Israel’s oldest and most respected non-profit healthcare and social welfare organizations.  Guided by a commitment to professional excellence and the preservation of human dignity, the organization has become a leader in the fields of rehabilitation, treatment of the chronically ill and elder care.

From humble beginnings in 1937, as a provider of social and housing assistance to Holocaust survivors in Tel Aviv, Reuth has grown into a multi-disciplinary umbrella organization that provides a comprehensive range of medical, rehabilitative and community services for all sectors of Israeli society.

Reuth manages the Reuth Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Tel Aviv, subsidized housing for the needy, senior citizen's homes, community centers for the elderly and the Reuth-Eshel Information Center  - a leading community service call center providing patients and families with needed advice about geriatrics, nursing care and rehabilitation.

Beyond its many services is Reuth's fundamental mission: to provide a warm and caring atmosphere in which personal attention is always the highest priority and where every resident and patient feels part of a family and a community.

Reuth Medical & Rehabilitation Center (RMC) is a 360-bed rehabilitation and chronic care hospital, the largest of its kind in the Tel Aviv area. It offers advanced multidisciplinary treatments and devoted care to thousands of Israelis every year. Known for high professional standards and a warm, supportive atmosphere, RMC offers long and short term rehabilitation, respiratory rehabilitation, nursing care, intensive care for ventilator support patients, and outpatient services.

Patients from all over the country including adults, geriatric patients, children and infants, are referred to RMC following prior initial medical treatment in an acute care facility. The most common causes of hospitalization are trauma, car accident injuries, terror and war-related injuries, debilitating diseases, post-operative complications and strokes.

RMC is affiliated to the Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine and is recognized by the Israel Medical Association for specialization of physicians in the fields of rehabilitation and geriatrics.

Patients are afforded quality of life therapies, while developing rehabilitative potential to the utmost. Much emphasis is placed on empowering patients' families as well.

A special Children's Department, the only one of its kind in Israel, is dedicated to caring for infants and children in severe conditions.
